Hi, I’m Abby Hepworth.
I've worked as a fashion editor for nearly 15 years, having written for both digital and print publications. I've covered a broad range of topics including emerging trends, red carpet events, advice on where and how top shop, styling tips and tricks, and gift guides for every kind of holiday or recipient. Over the past 9+ years, I specifically worked to develop the voice and identity of PureWow's fashion vertical, working closely with the affiliate/commerce team to ensure the brand's content was balanced between functional and fun, always with an emphasis on the reader experience. I am excited to continue writing, editing, and styling fashion content, as well as travel, wellness, and beauty wherever possible.

As Fashion Editor, I managed PureWow’s fashion team, approving and editing pitches, as well as pitching and writing fashion and shopping stories of my own. I helped to conceptualize the fashion editorial calendar, adjusting and pivoting as new trends and newsworthy events come up. I attended market appointments and maintained relationships with publicists and brands, performed market research to ensure we were always on top of the latest and greatest in fashion, and worked closely with our Affiliate Director to ensure top rates for our most loved brands. I helped shape and develop PureWow’s fashion vertical over the past 9+ years to find a voice that is unique to the website with content readers are eager to shop and share.

As People StyleWatch’s first ever Credits Editor I helped to shape the role in order to best assist the fashion and beauty departments. I acquired all fashion credit information for the print publication and select web features, and assisted in creating editorial layout boards for fashion stories and well features.
